TETHERA showed us what thoughtfully directed folk music sounds like. Light and shade, varied genre, ie songs, morris tunes, non-morris tunes (!) fast and slow and in between, and all staged by three musicians of undoubted ability who gave equal input and balance to the performance. They played as a whole rather than three separate artistes, who happen to be performing together, and they were deservingly much appreciated.
The concert started with the support act of Andy Tymens and Mark Addison and they proved able and enjoyable openers.
